Leon Winkler is Senior Director of International Events at Ubisoft. Over nearly two decades, his work has spanned E3, Gamescom, Ubisoft Forward, and experiences that bring players and the people behind games together.
With a background across entertainment and video games, Leon works at the intersection of storytelling, culture, and live experiences. He also speaks internationally about experiential marketing, pop culture, and the future of events.
The Black Game Pros initiative began in 2019 with the Black Game Pros Mixer at E3, founded by Leon to connect Black professionals in gaming and technology. That commitment continues through Black Game Pros Sessions, the interview platform he created and hosts.
Through candid conversations, BGPS puts Black talent in the spotlight, shares knowledge, and creates opportunities for connection. BGPS is an independent platform founded and hosted by Leon, with its own editorial direction. It is separate from his work at Ubisoft.
